Serving Grimes and surrounding counties for over half a century, Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital strives to be your full service veterinarian. Beard Veterinary Clinic was started in 1957 by Dr. Bryan Beard, and Navasota Veterinary Clinic was started by Dr. David Husfeld. After acquiring both clinics in 1987, Dr. Don Goodman and Dr. David Luedeker have been providing veterinary services for large and small animals and upheld the hospitals' foundation of continuing service to Grimes and surrounding counties. Dr. David Luedeker, a native of New Ulm, graduated in 1971 from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He began practicing in San Antonio for two years and then joined Dr. Bryan Beard on staff at Beard Veterinary Clinic, until Dr. Beard's retirement. Dr. Don Goodman, a native of Navasota, graduated in 1979 from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He begin his veterinary career in Jacksonville and moved to Navasota in 1981.
